I don't think anyone will choose the phrase "Attention, content, please read!" as a headline, and yet this is exactly what content is all about: You want to entice your audiences to linger on your site, to read your text, to think and - of course - to act. The goal of content marketing is to build a customer base that wants to acquire your products, services, or even ideas and beliefs. Additionally, web text often meets a rather impatient audience...

In 1990, my passion for lyrics made me turn my hobby into a career: After studying languages and art history in Cologne with a Master of Arts degree and an additional qualification as marketing and advertising assistant, I started working as a freelance journalist for the public relations agency Ingrid Grimm PR in Düsseldorf.
​
I focused on providing marketing services and PR solutions for international clients from the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries, I also organized press conferences and product presentations as well as composing marketing and promotional text, press releases, corporate newsletters and advertising copy in German, English and French.
Based in France since 2003, I was in charge of press and public relations for two luxury holiday resorts in the South of France from 2003 to 2015. At the beginning of 2014 I started my own business again, working as a freelance PR and communications consultant and freelance writer. In addition to content creation in German, English, and French, I also offer proofreading & revision in these languages as well as text translations.
